AI tools are not a risk, they are inevitable

It seems like the excitement for AI grows every day. The possibilities for how it might change our workflows and the capabilities of our teams expand with each new application. But, some remain skeptical about whether we should go all-in on AI. 

Any time a new technology emerges, there are always people who resist change—at least change that happens too quickly. They prefer to wait until a product is tested and proven before investing their resources into it. While we certainly think it’s important to be thoughtful about the resources you use to support your team, we also want to warn against waiting too long before adding AI tools to your tech stack. 

Here are a few of the biggest reasons we think AI is inevitable, and not a risky technology to avoid.

AI tools add speed and accuracy to your operations

One of the biggest strengths of AI is the speed at which it can turn thousands of data points into actionable insights, process recommendations, and even outreach scripts. At a time when productivity and efficiency are critical, your team needs tools that work quickly and with complete accuracy.

Organizations that continue to rely on data that is manually entered into their programs or try to build winning strategies from an incomplete picture of their teams’ performance are at a higher risk of slow and inconsistent growth. 

If your goals are to maintain your current growth or increase the productivity of your team, prolonging your investment in AI is only going to hurt you in the long run. Instead, invest early in small ways so that your AI tools can scale with your enterprise as you grow.

What’s more, those who use AI tools reportedly understand their customers better and can work more efficiently than those who don’t. 

We’ve seen it happen before. Early adopters who figure out how to leverage a technology successfully often get so far ahead of their competition that there is no way for other companies to catch up. We certainly aren’t there yet, but the longer companies wait to implement AI into their tech, the higher their chances are to fall behind their competitors.
