Installation Instructions

  1. Navigate to

  3. Log into Zoom with a user that has administrative Zoom credentials

To deauthorize your Zoom connection, follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Zoom Marketplace
  2. Click Manage
  3. Click Installed Apps
  4. Click
  5. Click Uninstall


The Zoom integration allows Retain to analyze meeting durations and enhance  reporting. For example, if a one-hour customer meeting scheduled in G Suite calendar was conducted on Zoom and only lasted for 45 minutes, Retain will adjust the “meeting hours” for that customer to reflect the correct  45 minute duration.


If the Zoom icon is not visible on the Retain integrations page, please contact us at so we can enable it.

If the Zoom integration failed to connect, the most likely reason is because the Zoom credentials used for sign-in do not have administrative access.

Security & Privacy’s Zoom integration requires that a single admin-level user from a client’s organization connect to the Zoom platform via OAuth 2.0. This token is refreshed at a regular cadence. adheres to the Cryptography Policy to store and encrypt the token and all associated data in transit and at rest.


I’m being asked to authorize the Zoom app again. Why?

Retain’s connection to the Zoom integration can occasionally close for technical reasons, requiring administrative users to reestablish the connection. Based on experience, this should be very rare and we apologize for the inconvenience. 

My administrator established the Zoom connection with Retain, but when I navigate to, I don’t see the “connect” button highlighted for Zoom.

This is normal expected behaviour for the integrations page. Only the administrative user who opened the connection would be able to see the “connect” button highlighted. 

What does Retain do with the Zoom integration?

Retain analyzes your Zoom meetings to determine meeting durations for time reporting purposes.
